Greetings

We are pleased to announce the 46th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry, co-hosted with the Graduate School of Science at Nagoya University. The event will take place over two days on September 30 (Monday) and October 1 (Tuesday), 2024, at Nagoya University Higashiyama Campus.

Last year marked a return to in-person meetings, providing an opportunity to rediscover the joy of face-to-face interactions. We believe that some students experienced the vibrant atmosphere of the poster sessions for the first time. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all those involved in the planning and execution of the meeting.

This year, we are excited to hold the meeting in Nagoya after a long interval. As we are planning for an in-person gathering, we encourage you to join us eagerly. The Nagoya University Station on the Meijo subway line is conveniently located in the middle of the Higashiyama Campus, and you can reach it in about 30 minutes from Nagoya Station. Although the end of September is expected to be warm, the Higashiyama Campus still boasts a natural environment, allowing you to enjoy the diverse flora and fauna throughout the seasons. We hope you take the opportunity to explore the campus between conference sessions.
